Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions

Company: Rayleigh Gutter Cleaning and Repairs, a provider of gutter cleaning, repair, and replacement services.

Client: The individual or entity who requests and pays for the Company's services.

Services: Gutter cleaning, repair, and/or replacement as agreed upon between the Company and the Client.

Agreement: The contract formed between the Company and the Client for the provision of Services, as detailed in a written quote or invoice.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting and accepting the Company's services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Service Provision

The Company will provide the Services as outlined in the written quote or invoice. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

The Client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the gutters for the Company's personnel.

The Company reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or cancel Services due to unsafe working conditions, including adverse weather conditions that pose a risk to the safety of its personnel.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or postpone Services due to unsafe working conditions.

The Company will remove and dispose of all waste materials resulting from the cleaning, repair, or replacement of gutters.

4. Payment

Payment for Services is due as follows:
-
Domestic Clients: Within 24 hours of completion of the work.

Commercial Clients: Within 28 days of receipt of the invoice.

Accepted forms of payment include credit and debit cards, BACS payment, and cash.

Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Warranty

The Company offers a 12 month warranty on replacement gutters and workmanship, covering defects in materials and workmanship only. This warranty is void if the gutters are not professionally cleaned at least once every 12 months. It does not cover damage caused by extreme weather events, accidents, or neglect by client.

6. Liability

The Company is not liable for pre-existing damage to gutters or surrounding property.

The Company will exercise reasonable care but is not responsible for damage to landscaping or property that may occur during normal service operations.

The Client is responsible for notifying the Company of any underground utilities or potential hazards that they may be reasonably aware of, prior to service commencement.

7. Cancellation Policy
​Where the consumers Cancellation of Contracts 2013 do not apply:-

The Client may cancel gutter cleaning services without penalty by providing at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment.

If the Client cancels a gutter repair or replacement service after the Company has ordered materials, the Client will be responsible for the cost of those materials. Cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled appointment may be exempt from this fee, at the Company's discretion.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

8. Disputes
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be submitted to mediation or arbitration.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the Company's website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
